Chapter Seventeen: There’s Always Drama. Get It On Film.

Of course there’s going to be interpersonal drama. There is no point of the show at all if there isn’t. As always, if need be, we can create interpersonal drama in post, but that is absolutely the last-case scenario. It’s a lot harder to make post-production drama seem as real as the real-time stuff.

Find Their Buttons and Push!

Every girl has a button you can find and press that will elicit any reaction you want. It’s up to you to figure out what that button is. Remember, this is where teamwork comes into play. One of your fellow producers may have figured out what buttons to press for one Potential OTL and should be sharing that information with you.

Refer Back to Their Psychological Evaluations

There is a very good chance the girls will have the most problems with their roommates—and we make sure of it. Your preseason book has all the psych evaluations done before the show officially starts—you should have read them cover to cover and should be implementing as much of the information as you possibly can.

Remember! A girl on the edge is the best sort of contestant. Feel free to give little nudges toward the edge as you see fit.
